ABOUT US Real Building Supply was built in 1958 by T J Moore Lumber Co. headquartered in Ingram Texas. It had changed hands two or three times and was for sale again when Jerry and Debbie Blalock, the current owners, decided to purchase it in 1993 to facilitate their desire to move permanently to Real County where they had owned property for five years. Kevin, their son joined them in 1998 and now manages the store's day to day operation. The beautiful hill country and the friendlines of the people was the magnet that drew them to Leakey. With the support of the local contractors and townsfolk, Real Building started to grow rapidly from a minimal facility to a full fledged building supply company with over six times the inventory that was on the premises at the time of purchase. Since we are owned locally we shop here, we live here, we pay taxes here and we are involved in the community such as the chamber of commerce, cancer society, EMS, church, etc., etc.. Our commitment to selecting vendors who can provide good priceing without compromising quality, which allows us to pass on the savings to our customers, is one of our highest goals. Real Building never forgets that our customers have choices and that we must remain competetive as long as we can maintain profitiability. Our business is like a three legged stool. The vendor, customers, and our people are equally important to our success and we will never forget that. With the help of our local community we want to keep our customers here at home and comming back.
